Jerome Schotthoefer Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Jerome Schotthoeffer Gordon, GA Services for Mr. Jerome William Schotthoefer will be conducted, 2 O?clock, Monday Afternoon, January 9, 2011 in the Williams Funeral Home Chapel in Gordon with Rev. Roy Tolbert and Rev. Dean Spivey officiating. Interment will follow at 4 o?clock at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens in Macon. The family will receive friends Monday from 1 until the service hour. Mr. Schotthoefer, age 81, passed away Thursday morning in Macon. He was a native of Peoria, Il. He was the son of the late Joseph and Annie Huber Schotthoefer. Mr. Schotthoefer had lived in Jones County since 1992. He was a retired engineer with Black and Decker. Mr. Schotthoefer was a member of the Macon Moose Lodge #1455, Disabled American Veterans, and Bethlehem Baptist Church. He was a Veteran of the United States Air force. Survivors include his wife Dorothy Young Skipper Schotthoefer, sons, Jerry (Sharon) Schotthoefer of Michigan, Carl Schotthoefer of Jones County, Tim Skipper of Savannah, Daughters, Judy (John) Basler of Alaska, Karen Beckman of Michigan, Linda Hampton of Michigan , Linda (Keith) Williams of Jones County, Carol (Dean) Spivey, Fl, Elaine ( Joey) Hall of Macon, GA. Sisters, Katherine Courier of Northville, MI, Lenore (Gene) Dipka, Clinton Township, MI, Joan (John) Wiezbicky, Romeo, MI, Brothers, Gerald (Joan) Schotthoefer of Forney, Texas, John (Barbara) Schott of St. Clair Shores, MI., 25 Grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren.
