December 8, 1921 - February 21, 2010

Visitation for Mrs. Gladys Simmons Brown, 88, of Macon, will be Wednesday, February 24, 2010 in Williams-White Columns Funeral Home from 1 to 2 PM with services to follow in the Chapel at 2 PM. Mr. David Harper will officiate and burial will follow in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery in Twiggs County.

Gladys Simmons Brown, 88, was a native of Cochran but had made her home in Macon most of her adult life. Daughter of the late Luther Lonnie & Gertrude Mettie Batts Simmons, she was the widow of Thomas Brown and a member of the Assembly of God Church.

Survivors include: Sons: Paul (Kay) Kitchens-Leesburg, GA
W. L. Kitchens-Chattanooga, TN
Daughter: Linda (Eddie) Thomas-Plainsville, IL
Brother: W. C. Simmons-Macon
Sister: Margaret Padgett-Dublin
